Brief Bio: Yung Yi received his B.S. and the M.S. in the School of Computer Science and Engineering from Seoul National University, South Korea in 1997 and 1999, respectively, and his Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, USA in 2006. From 2006 to 2008, he was a post-doctoral research associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University. Now, he is an assistant professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering at KAIST, South Korea. His current research interests include the design and analysis of computer networking and wireless communication systems, especially congestion control, scheduling, and interference management, with applications in wireless ad hoc networks, broadband access networks, economic aspects of communication networks (aka network economics), and green networking systems. He has been served as a TPC member at various conferences such as Mobihoc 2008-2009, Wicon 2009-2010, WiOpt 2009-2010, Infocom 2010-2011, and ICC/Globecom 2010, and also as the local arrangement chair of WiOpt 2009 and CFI (Conference on Future Internet) 2010.
